Patience. That is what this mission takes. If you don't have patience then you won't like this mission. But, in the real world you won't ever fly a mission without having to undergo multiple butt cramps!

Ok. This is the deal. I assume that you have already read the mission briefing. This gives you a lot of information. Finally, intelligence did their job! You know that you are alone. You have 4 A-10's that are going on an antitank mission, and there's a B-52 that's going to bomb all enemy bases. What you don't know is this. There are 3 Su-27's that will be popping up in your path every now and then during the mission. The first will pose a serious threat to the A-10s and the other 2 will be intercepting the B-52 if not destroyed.

I will now go through the following flight procedures: Take off with full military thrust upon starting the mission. You will see that there is an AAA symbol on your HUD on startup. Don't destroy it with a harm. The A-10's can do that. Do, though, fly towards the first W (Waypoint). Right after you can see the river below you, you should see an AAA symbol in the HUD. This is the gunboat the briefing talked about. You will only have a few seconds to designate and fire so be ready. If this target isn't destroyed pronto then your mission is a flop. Only seconds later you should get an aircraft locked onto you. Designate it and fire an AM_120 to hold it off while you take off the medium range SAM that shows up after you pop up from the river bank. There are three MiGs so be careful. I think that two of'm have medium range radar guided missiles. Try to take all of them out on the first pass so you can fly back immediatly and reservice. Right after reservicing, you should be able to lock up a Su-27 in radar. Be quick to reservice cause the Su-27 will be targeting the A-10s. (There is a friendly SAM in the area so you might not have to waste missiles on the Su-27) If you have to shoot a missile, after destroying the 27, reservice and fly to the next W. Then fly to the next, then to the next. All the while targeting and destroying SAMs. You have only enough HARMs for 1 HARM per SAM. So evade one missile per SAM and target in close. Soon you will have to destroy two Su-27s at once. If one of them flys out to sea take off after it. They must be destroyed at all costs. A good way of getting them both is to get in close and get one behind you and one that your following and shouting at with the gun. (As long as your a better shot then the Su behind you). When you have the first guy shot, go back and kill the second. Now, all I will say now is that you have to fly to Seoul and reservice. Take of emediatly and fly to the next W (after the W that's set at Seoul). Take out the SAMs there as well as the Su-27 (surprise! surprise!). After that your mission's done. Fly to the USS Enterprise and quit.
